We provide first class care when walking your pooch. One of the added perks of booking with Kapooch is that we include leash training in every walk! We also send pictures and a message after the walk, containing a short report about the walk. Are you old school? Do you own a flip-phone? No problem! We can leave a note with a progress report about your fur-pal. Carrier pigeon is an additional fee.

*All dog walking cancellations, changes & add-ons are required to be submitted by 9am the day before the appointment, otherwise it will result in an additional fee. (see pricing above) For Monday cancellations it is required by Saturday at 3p, because we are closed Sundays.

At Kapooch we do not board like other companies. No kennels or cement floors! All dogs are boarded at an experienced handler's residence. Your pooch will feel at home in a warm and loving environment like their own. Your doggie gets full attention and love while you are away. We send a daily update and photo of your dog. Plus! You will have the handler's personal mobile number in case you have any questions or concerns about your pal-io. (You can even talk to your dog - don't worry we won't tell anyone.)

Boarding prices include a minimum of 4 relief walks a day, feeding and hugs. Plus a minimum of 1 hour of exercise through walking and/or exercise and play. Please let us know if you have any special medical or feeding requirements and we will be happy to create a tailored boarding program for you. At Kapooch we don't charge extra for weekends! *

*A crate will be used when the handler steps out, for safety and separation from other dogs. Or if your dog has behavioral issues and/or chews things.

Please note that paperwork from your veterinary office must be provided, showing that all dogs are current on shots and vaccines. Specifically: Rabies, Bordetella, Canine Influenza, and DAPP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parvovirus, and Parainfluenza). In addition, a negative lab result for a fecal exam is require for: 1) Ova & Parasites & 2) Giardia ELISA, within the last 6 months.

Brianna Scarborough, the owner and founder of Kapooch, is an experienced trainer and specializes in K9 rehabilitation. With over 30 years of experience in animal care and over 20 years in dog training, you can feel at ease placing your pooch in her hands. She believes in working closely with our pet parents, so you can contact her at any time during the training process. *We also offer group training for clients who have a friend, or friends, want to teach their pups some basic obedience - like sit, stay, lay-down, or come? Are you on a budget? Try a group session, to save some bones! We offer a reduced rate basic training class for a minimum of 2 dogs and a maximum of 6.
